Personnafax, formerly Merritt Personnafax ("the Merritt"), was incorporated in 1978. The founder of the company, Dr. George T. Merritt (EdD, Columbia), served as the director of the corporation until he passed away in 2005. The Personnafax system was in use much longer, as Dr. Merritt had developed his system from the teachings of his father, Francis L.Merritt. Prior to developing a selection company, Francis Merritt had been in life insurance from the 1950s thru 1970s. In 2005, Dr. Illya Lichtenberg (JD,PhD, Rutgers) George`s stepson, took over the operations of Personnafax as director. Now starting the fourth generation of this family owned and operated business, Illya`s eldest son Riker, has started working for Personnafax.
